🔌 Official API

Oura API v2: REST/JSON at api.ouraring.com/v2/usercollection/… (sleep, daily activity/readiness, heart rate, workouts, sessions, tags, SpO2).
Auth is OAuth2 only. Personal access tokens were deprecated in Dec 2025, so a personal script now needs its own registered API application (apps are limited to 10 users until Oura approves them, which is plenty for personal use).
Gen3/Ring 4 owners without an active membership cannot use the API at all.

📦 Export

Oura on the Web was discontinued on Oct 5, 2026. Download your data from the Membership Hub instead.
Oura says the download works even without an active membership, so cancelling doesn't lock up your history.
Bulk files are account exports from Oura's cloud. The ring has no local or offline export, and Gadgetbridge doesn't support it.

🏠 Home Assistant

No official Home Assistant integration.
Community HACS integrations poll the Oura cloud API, so they need an OAuth app plus an active membership, and they lag behind ring syncs.

💳 Subscription

Oura Membership costs $5.99/month or $69.99/year (US), with the first month included.
Without it you only see your three daily scores, and API access is blocked.
Gen2 rings don't need a membership.
